The entertainer has been in the public eye since Dean announced that “it’s over” between them.

In a now-viral video, Obidi said she would now focus on taking care of herself and her new baby.

She also appreciated her fans and people who have reached out to show their support.

“So, I’m going to be 100% committed to taking care of my newborn baby and myself because the moment is good, baby is good,” she said.

“Thank you all for reaching out and for everything. Honestly, I don’t know what I would do without you supporting me. I love you.”

Dean had earlier revealed why he wants to divorce the mother of two, saying, “I did my absolute best to make it work.”

“Korra Obidi and I are getting a divorce. It’s over! I won’t be treated this way longer. I did my absolute best to make it work,” he had written.

On Thursday, Nancy Umeh, the dancer’s sister, disclosed that they are trying to address the issue between the couple.

“This period is quite stretching for both of them. We were all up all day/night trying to work things out. They are both committed and I’m positive that everything will be fine in the end,” she said.
