Davido, however, denied any involvement with the church. He also threatened lawsuit if the video was not retracted.

Elizabeth Omale, the lady who made the visuals, had apologized for any confusion caused by the video, saying it was taken out of context.

In the wake of the heated controversy, a similar video of Wizkid and Tiwa Savage emerged online where both stars are seen talking about the importance of God in their respective lives. The video also ends with a promotion for the church’s program.

The development has since sparked angry reactions from Wizkid and Tiwa Savage and also gotten many talking on social media platforms especially Twitter.

“So it’s not only Davido these COZA fanatics are using to stage their pathetic concert abi na program. They have dragged Wizkid and Tiwa Savage. I am lost for words. Make nobody come tell me say na members and Biodun Fatoyinbo no get hand inside. CONSENT is always their problem!!,” a Twitter user said.

“Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo was alleged to have sex with Busola Dakolo without consent. Now Davido claims Fayotinbo used his video for an ad without consent. It seems consent is a sin in COZA & the members must defend it religiously,” another user said.
