Shatta Bandle, a Ghanaian Instagram personality and self-acclaimed billionaire, has become the cynosure of many eyes on social media in the past few weeks due to his physical appearance, financial braggadocio and penchant for hilarity.
The internet sensation, who suffers from a genetic or medical condition called dwarfism, began to gain traction on social media platforms after he started to challenge the billionaire status of Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man.
The diminutive personality, who is well know for bragging about his wealth and showing off his wads of cash, houses and cars, “ridiculously” claimed to be richer than Dangote.
His obsession for the Nigerian billionaire businessman is so crystal clear that he takes to social media platforms to call out the president of Dangote Group at the slightest of provocation.
In one of his videos (above), Bandle can be heard reiterating that “I get money pass Dangote. Stop trying me Dangote.”
Bandle, whose real name is Idrissu Firdaus, also caused a stir among internet users when he made an “outrageous” claim that he is richer than everybody on earth, including Bill Gates, and other renowned business magnates.
The comic act, who was born in Karaga, northern region of Ghana, once told his followers that he intends to sign Davido and Wizkid, two critically acclaimed Nigerian Afropop stars, to his record label.
The Ghanaian sensation parades himself as an oil business mogul who has lost track of his fortunes and owns firms in Nigeria, Ghana and the United Arab Emirates. He is believed to be in his 20s.
Bandle recently visited Nigeria. He came on the back of his feature in the visuals of ‘Audio Money‘, a single released by Paul Okoye, Afrobeats singer better known as Rudeboy.
In ‘Audio Money’, Okoye sent strong cautionary words to those who are in the habit of living fake lives. The talented singer also had some words for those who adorn their social media handles with contents that falsely portray them as wealthy individuals.
