Celine Dion, legendary Canadian singer, teamed up with James Corden, British actor and comedian, to recreate an iconic ‘Titanic’ scene while singing Dion’s hit ballad ‘My Heart Will Go On’.
Dion made the epic performance at Las Vegas for ‘Carpool Karaoke’, a recurring segment in ‘The Late Late Show’, a CBS broadcast anchored by Corden.
Prior to this, the segment also included a singing challenge tasking the 51-year-old singer to prove she has a song for the moment while Corden drove on.
The actor also taught Dion the popular kids song ‘Baby Shark’ which was also recreated into something more dramatic.
The Grammy-winning singer had announced in April that her Las Vegas residency will end soon when she gets busy working on her forthcoming album.
Dion also made a Facebook live video where she told fans to anticipate her fourteenth concert tour dubbed ‘Courage World Tour’.
The world tour will promote her upcoming English-language album titled ‘Courage’ which is scheduled for release in November 2019.
The tour, which is expected to kickstart at Quebec City in Canada, will mark Dion’s comeback concert, ten years after ‘Taking Chances World Tour’.
Celine Dion achieved worldwide fame after releasing several best-selling English albums in the 1990s such as ‘Falling into You’ and ‘Let’s Talk About Love’, which were both certified diamonds in the US.
