Wande Coal, Nigerian dancer and Afropop singer, has joined forces with Amaarae, a Ghanaian vocalist, for a new single dubbed ‘Spend Some Time’.

The song, which spans Afrobeats; Afrofusion; and dancehall, sees Amaarae airing her views on ideal relationship demands and conveying her fears on how distance and time could make the passion fade.

Wande Coal, who plays her lover, eulogies her as the duo urge each other to “spend some time”  for the good of what they share, even against the odds.

Not long after she had her name engraved on the Ghanaian music scene, Amaarae has kept edging towards the Nigerian scene and aligning herself with the country’s biggest music artists.

She is also a disc jockey (DJ) and sound engineer, who delivers heavy lines with dreamy, sensual dexterity anytime she grabs the mic.

Her lyrical prowess, unique voice and exceptionally unique style have made her global, making her an artist to look forward to in the coming years.

Wande Coal, also keeps making giant strides that have earned him numerous awards.  Though he had earlier been absent from the music scene, the 33-year-old picked up from where he left off with his 2016 single ‘Iskaba’.

The gifted singer was recently unveiled as the headlining artiste for the sixth edition of Trace Live series, a music concert scheduled to hold in Lagos.
