Vivian Fowler Memorial College, a secondary school situated in Lagos state, has denied claims that Lizzy, a rescued drug addict, ever attended the school.
The denial is coming after a video went viral on social media detailing Lizzy’s “heavy use of cocaine and heroine,” her resort to prostitution and street begging to get a daily fix of the hard drugs.
The 26-year-old also alleged that she attended Caleb nursery and primary school and Vivian Fowler Memorial College for girls.
In a swift reaction, the management of the school issued a disclaimer on Twitter, denying that the said lady ever attended their school.
“Our attention has been brought to a viral video on social media about a young lady who is currently undergoing drug rehabilitation at Freedom Foundation and is purported to have attended Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls,” the disclaimer read.
“We…were heartbroken by the news and as a body that stands up for her own, we investigated and got her full names. The investigation revealed she gave the social worker two names However, None of the names matched any of our records from inception till date.”
“We would be working with Freedom Foundation and every other party involved to ensures she is rehabilitated, re-oriented and re-installed as a fully functional and productive member of the society.”

Rescued by Tony Rapu, Nigerian pastor and self-acclaimed social reformer, the 26-year-old lady, in a video, had narrated how past experiences and her boyfriend made an addict of her.
“I came into drugs through a friend who used to be my boyfriend. He was putting it in my weed and I didn’t know. There was a day he showed cocaine to me and told me he had been putting it in my weed without my knowledge,” Lizzy had said.
“That was how I got into cocaine. I finished my secondary school from Vivian Fowler. I went to Caleb Nursery and Primary School.”
