The Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO) has announced the maiden and special edition of its Food & Drink Festival themed ‘Holiday Edition’.
During a press briefing on Thursday, the company revealed that the festival will be held on December 20 and 21.
Scheduled to take place at the GTCentre, Plot 1, Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Lagos, this year’s event is designed as a vibrant celebration of Africa’s culinary heritage and a festive platform for families, entrepreneurs, and food lovers.
Segun Agbaje, the group CEO of GTCO Plc, highlighted the festival’s continued growth and impact.
He emphasised that the festival “has grown into a powerful platform for celebrating enterprise, creativity, and the richness of African cuisine”.
Agbaje added that the ‘Holiday Edition’ is aimed at “creating joyful shared experiences for food and beverage SMEs”.

According to the organisers, the eighth edition promises to deliver an immersive festive experience. Key features will include an expansive and secure children’s play area with holiday-themed games and entertainment, as well as over 213 complimentary exhibition stalls for small and medium-sized food enterprises.
The festival will also host a dedicated streetwear hub spotlighting local fashion through pop-up shops and live demonstrations, alongside live musical performances from two of Nigeria’s most popular artists to energise attendees.
