Davita Lamai, the partner of Nigerian rapper Zlatan, has earned a degree from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

The ‘Ale Yi’ hitmaker celebrated her achievement on her Instagram story on Thursday, sharing a video of the graduation ceremony.

In the clip, Zlatan cheered for Davita as she received her scroll, calling her a “beautiful and smart lady”. She waved at him before returning to her seat, beaming with pride.

Davita also posted a photo of the graduation programme, confirming she graduated from the university’s college of social sciences.

In her caption, she celebrated the milestone, writing, “Proud of myself” — revealing this was her second degree. She humorously added, “Two degrees hotter”.

The graduation ceremony was also graced by the lovebirds’ family and friends, including their son Toluwalase Shiloh.

Zlatan and Davita welcomed Toluwalase on March 29, 2020.

Born Omoniyi Raphael, Zlatan is known for his energetic delivery and street credibility. He continues to ride the wave of his unique sound, which fuses Afrobeats, hip-hop, and indigenous rhythms.

Some of his hit songs include ‘Zanku’, ‘Shotan’, ‘Quilox’, and ‘Lagos Anthem’.

Since the release of his debut studio album in 2019, the rapper has won several awards and earned recognition for his craft.
