Freestyle clips of the viral sensation have been buzzing on social media for the past few days.

Hours after his friend and collaborator, Picazo Rhap, got signed by YBNL Records, Blaze also got a deal.

Olamide Adedeji, YBNL founder, on Monday welcomed Blaze to the record label, in the same manner in which he did with Picazo Rhap.

Both Rhap and Blaze belong to the same crew and often appear in each other’s freestyle videos.

Interestingly, Blaze had congratulated Rhap a few hours before Olamide announced his own signing to YBNL.

Unlike other record labels, YBNL is known for helping young artistes develop their talents, and afterwards, setting them free to stand on their own.

Adekunle Gold and Lil Kesh are examples of artistes who attained fame and success with the label before moving on to set up their independent imprints.

Both artistes spent less than three years on the label’s roster.
