There was so much to see on the red carpet of the third edition of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2016.

As always, we’ll focus on celebrities who are expected to be well put-together and appropriately dressed for the red carpet.

Sulaimon Adio Oladele Oyeneye, also known as Atawewe, is a popular Fuji artiste and while his fame is incontestible, his fashion sense leaves much to desire.

On the red carpet of AFRIMA, Atawewe appeared as if he was heading out for drinks with his boys before taking a detour to the venue of the awards ceremony.

Then there was Diamond Platnumz, whose outfit was similar to that of a stage magician.

One can’t exactly say what motivated his choice of shirt but it hurt the eyes – and still does.

Dj Nana looked like a superhero who’s in the early stages of picking out a signature costume.

Who wears just a t-shirt to an award show? Paul from Psquare does.

Maybe he wanted to appear laid back, or perhaps he just doesn’t care but for an A-list celebrity, a t-shirt is not good enough for an award ceremony.
