‘Roar’ singer, Katy Perry, is the highest paid woman in music in 2018, according to a ranking done by Forbes.

The American singer reportedly made $83 million pretax.

During the period under review, Perry performed at 80 venues, reportedly grossing over $1 million per night.

Some of her earnings also came from serving as a judge on music talent show, American Idol.

Taylor Swift ranks second with $80 million while Beyoncé Knowles Carter pulled in $60 million to come in at number three.

Lady Gaga netted $50 million to seal the fifth spot while Jennifer Lopez earned $47 million to sit pretty at number six.

Courtesy of her Fenty Beauty and Savage Lingerie, Rihanna came in at number seven with pretax earnings of $37.5 million.

In compiling the list, Forbes considers pretax earnings from June 1, 2017, to June 1, 2018, before deducting fees for agents, managers, lawyers and estate executors.
