The Women’s Film Club is set to host the screening of a short film ‘Ben and Ara’.
The club serves as a platform to make independent cinema accessible to the Nigerian public through film screenings, forums and related events.
‘Ben and Ara’, a contemporary short film directed by Nnegest Likke, will be screened at Whitespace, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The short film is about 2 phd students, an African Muslim and the other an agnostic, who both discover that love between different cultures and religions may have consequences.
The film screening will feature an interactive discussion session, with the aim of promoting culture, spreading knowledge through comprehensive conversations about difficulties experienced in relationships of people from different tribes and religions.
The screening will take place at 4pm on Sunday, July 30.
