Wizkid and Tems have been nominated five times each for the 2021 Soul Train Awards.

Organisers of the award ceremony recently released the full list of nominations for its 2021 edition.

Wizkid and Tems had joint nominations in the ‘Song of The Year’, ‘Video of The Year’, ‘The Ashford and Simpson songwriter’s award’ and ‘Best Collaboration categories for their collaborative song ‘Essence’.

Wizkid was then nominated for ‘Album of The Year’ for his 2020 project ‘Made In Lagos’.

Tems also bagged a solo nomination in the ‘Best New Artist’.

The Soul Train Music Awards honour the best in African-American culture music and entertainment. Its 2021 edition will air on November 28.
