In a chat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the media personality, the ‘Strong Thing’ crooner had reflected on Wizkid’s time under Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), his music label.

Banky W claimed the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer did not fulfill his agreement with him before exiting his record label.

According to him, Wizkid was expected to produce five albums for EME but only put out two.

He said he never talked the ‘Essence’ singer out of his exit to avoid animosity.

The 41-year-old also expressed his disappointment that Wizkid did not show up at his wedding in 2017.

“Was I disappointed that he wasn’t at the wedding? I was but I know he tried because there was a show with a lot of the artists…I think it was One Africa. But he called at the time that he was so sorry,” he had said.
