Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun, Nigerian superstar singer, says he’s set to put out some of the “best” songs ever recorded by him.

The singer who has been working with international artistes all year long, on Tuesday, revealed that some of those projects are nearing release.

While apologising to fans for keeping them waiting, Wizkid in a couple of tweets, also revealed that he’s working on another song with Drake Aubrey Graham, Canadian rapper.

Drake’s first collaboration with Wizkid was the international remix of ‘Ojuelegba’, a hit song released on ‘Ayo’, the sophomore studio album of the Nigerian star.

Shortly after that joint effort, the pair teamed up again for ‘One Dance’, a commercially successful song which spent nine weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Wizkid’s most recent release was ‘Shabba’ which featured American artistes, Chris Brown, Trey Songz and French Montana.

Last weekend, the singer performed alongside Brown in Kenya, at an event tagged “Mombasa Rocks”, which is said to be one of the biggest entertainment events in the East African country.
