Williams Uchemba, the actor and comedian, has announced plans to give the sum of one million naira as seed capital to any young entrepreneur or inventor in Nigeria.

The 27-year-old broke the news in a post via his Instagram page on Monday.

According to him, the initiative is aimed at helping people to achieve their dreams and reducing the unemployment level in the country.

Uchemba said interested applicants must have an idea or invention capable of addressing a societal problem and should be able to employ 3 to 5 people in the long run.

The entertainer added that he would post comprehensive entry requirements and application date in due course.

“I will be giving a seed capital of 1,000,000 (one million naira) to any young entrepreneur/inventor in Nigeria,” he wrote.

“Criteria to qualify: you must have an idea/invention that can help solve a problem in the society, and also employ 3-5 people on the long run, at least, to help curb unemployment issue in the country.

“The purpose of this is to help people achieve their dreams and also help reduce unemployment among our youth (both graduates and non graduates)

“Will post detailed entry requirements and start date soon. So get ready!”

The development comes weeks after the actor disclosed that he was instructed by God to free Nigerians from poverty.
