Uche Odoputa, the Nollywood actor, has penned a heartfelt note to his father who was kidnapped on the occasion of this year’s Father’s Day.
On May 11, the 52-year-old film star lamented that Kenneth Odoputa, his father, had been abducted by suspected gunmen inside Osu town, Imo state.
He also called on friends to support him in prayers for his father’s return.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, the actor described his father as an “honest man” who will “always live in us”.
Uche also wondered if he will ever see his dad again.
“They may have taken you from us my honest man as you are called by all. My hero, I don’t know if I will ever see you soon but no matter what, papa Uchenna you will always live in us,” he wrote.
“We love you so much and miss you greatly. Happy fathers day my father/friend.”
