MTV Base, the music channel owned by Paramount Network, has enlisted White Money and Phyna, the Big Brother Naija winners, in a new television game show titled ‘MTV Base Sparks’.
The TV show will premiere on Saturday, April 29 at 8:00 pm across MTV Base channels.
Musicians to appear on the show include Spyro and King Perry, the Afrobeats singers.
Others are Gbubemi Ejeye, Genoveva Umeh, and Nons Miraj.
Comedian Mr. Hyenana will also join the star-studded show.
In a statement on Thursday, the music company said ‘MTV Base Sparks’ will allow fans to know more about Nigerian celebrities.
“The 30-minute show will see featured talent interview themselves, play games, and challenge each other in new and creative ways,” the statement reads in part.
“Viewers can expect a medley of activities and games that will reveal a different side to their favourite celebrities.”
Busola Komolafe, the channel head at Paramount Africa, said the show will take viewers on a “unique journey” with their “most loved celebrity”.
“We’re excited to bring a fresh and innovative show to our viewers with MTV Base Sparks,” she said.
“The show promises to take viewers on a unique journey with some of Nigeria’s most loved celebrities.
“With its interactive format and range of fun challenges, we believe that MTV Base Sparks will be a hit with audiences across the country.”
