White Money, the 2021 BBNaija winner, has apologised for making derogatory remarks about women.

In a recent interview, the reality star claimed some female BBNaija stars come to him for hookups.

Last week, White Money was also in the news over a social media post where he said “no woman is out of a man’s league as long as he has money.”

His comment attracted a chorus of condemnation on social media — even from the likes of Victoria Inyama, the actress, and Doyin David, the reality star.

But in a video on Tuesday, the 30-year-old said he never intended to belittle women. He also said his comments “were misinterpreted”.

“I will never slander women, I will never talk bad against women, I was raised by women, I love women, my team is filled with women, and I don’t have anything against women,” he said.

“Women have been a major part of my career and I appreciate every single woman in my life that I’ve come across and yet to come across.

“I’m sorry to all the women who feel insulted. I didn’t mean to insult anybody intentionally, I’m not above mistakes, I’m not perfect, thank you very much, let love lead.”
