A Trip to Jamaica, produced by Ayo Makun, was in November announced as the first film to make N35 million in its first weekend and also the first film to gross N62 million in its first week.

The movie was also the fastest film to rake in N100 million in 17 days as well as the fastest to make N150 million in six weeks.

The Wedding Party is now on course to break those records.

Cinema house, Film One, says “audiences nationwide” are in love with the movie which stars Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Iretu Doyle, Sola Sobowale, among others.
