Kim Kardashian, wife of Kanye West, renowned American rapper, says her husband has become “very strict and forceful” as a dad — since he converted to Christianity.

Kardashian, 39, stated this while speaking with the Daytime Talk Show about her husband’s new found disciplinarian strategies and spiritual transformation that seems to be rubbing off on the household.

According to her, West, 42, has “been going through this life change, and it’s mostly about the kids.”

The media personality and socialite said he is a strict disciplinarian when it comes to raising his kids and had also stripped off the makeup kits in their six-year-old daughter’s room alongside the TVs because the kids are getting older.

“It’s mostly about the kids. They’re getting older. He’s very cautious about what we have in the house. We got rid of TVs in the kids’ rooms and removed makeup from [6-year-old daughter] North‘s room. He’s had this epiphany of being—not that he wasn’t an amazing dad,” she said.

“But being a little bit more strict as a dad and being very forceful on the imagery that’s in our household and what they see. I actually agree with it, but I’m always gonna be me. We had that discussion and that fight and I think, at the end of the day, that’s what marriage is.”

Speaking on her exchange of words with Kanye following her “overly sexy” 2019 Met Gala dress — during an episode of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ — the supermodel said her husband had felt uncomfortable with the detachable nipples on the outfit.

“With the dress initially, because I was coming out of the water, there was nipples attached to it. And so I think he was certain that he didn’t want that on the dress. He had mentioned it multiple times and that was still on there. He’s my husband and I do think I obviously want to honour him and what he’s feeling, his life change,” she added.

West had recently released his first gospel album ‘Jesus is Lord’ after he had vowed to take sleepless nights in order to oversee its completion.
