Yemi Alade, an Afropop vocalist, has come through with the visuals for ‘Deceive’, a track off ‘Empress’, her latest album.

Alade took to her social media pages on Wednesday to announce the release of the project.

The less than five-minute video featured Paul Okoye, a singer also known as Rudeboy, and Funke Akindele, a movie star.

It sees Akindele starring as a therapist to Paul and Yemi’s tumultuous marriage.

As the video progresses, Rudeboy and the ‘Woman of Steel‘ crooner could be seen engaging in a heated argument with the pair accusing each other of deception.

“Na only God can judge. And I no wan deceive you.I no go break your heart. You don see me finish. Only God can judge o. You want to deceive me. You wan break my heart, oh yeah yeah,” they could be heard singing.

The singer came into the spotlight after the release of ‘Johnny’, her 2014 hit single, and has continued to pull the strings since then.

With numerous awards, recognitions and collaborations with other music heavyweights, Alade has established herself as a household name in the Nigerian music industry.
