The official trailer for ‘Bad Boys for Life’ has been put out — with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reuniting as detectives of the Miami Police Department (MPD).
The trailer, whose movie is set to come as the third part of 1995 movie, was released on Tuesday.
‘Bad Boys for Life’, as portrayed in the three-minute footage, would see the duo embark on dangerous missions, take out helicopters, and drive like the “bad guys” in sleek cars — with Smith swearing he’ll run down criminals till he gets old.
“I’m gonna be running down criminals until I’m 100,” said Smith, 51, in the trailer.
The premise of their return, just as the duo is set to retire, is to take down a fierce Albanian mob boss who wishes to retaliate following the defeat of his brother.
‘Bad Boys for Life’ is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Will Smith, and comes as a sequel to Bad Boys (1995) and Bad Boys II (2003).
The cop action comedy film comes as the final installment of the Bad Boys trilogy and it’s scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on January 17, 2020, by Columbia Pictures.
Smith had recently shared a viral photo with Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence and Wesley Snipes.
According to him, he and Lawrence stumbled upon Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes, ‘Coming to America’ actors, at Tyler Perry Studios — where the actors are presently working on the production of their different movies.
The duo had gone to the studios to complete the scenes for ‘Bad Boys 3’ when they bumped into Murphy and Snipes while working on ‘Coming to America 2’.
