Tiwa Savage, Nigerian singer, has released the visuals for ‘Somebody’s Son’, a track off her ‘Water & Garri‘ EP.
The video, released on Tuesday, is directed by Meji Alabi and features Brandy, an American singer.
In the visuals of ‘Somebody’s Son’, Tiwa ruminates on her longing for “true love”.
Tiwa’s debut album ‘Once Upon a Time’ was put out in 2013. She released her second ‘R.E.D’ in December 2015.
In September 2017, she came through with her debut EP ‘Sugarcane’ and followed it up with ‘Celia’ album in 2020.
Tiwa was once married to Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun. In November 2013, the couple held their traditional marriage.
In January 2015, Tiwa and Tee Billz announced that they were expecting their first child together.
Six months later, she gave birth to their son. In April 2016, Tee Billz accused Tiwa of infidelity and his mother-in-law of witchcraft.
Tiwa would later, in an in-depth interview, debunk Tee Billz’s infidelity claims and accused him of financial recklessness, drug addiction, and abandonment.
At that time, she would declare that her marriage to him was over.
