Teni, the Nigerian singer and songwriter, has come through with the visuals for ‘Maitama’, her latest single.

In ‘Maitama’, Teni enlists the help of Mayorkun and Costa Titch, the South African artiste.

The less than four-minute track sees the singers showing off their vocal prowess.

“Don’t know where I’m going but all I know is/ I’m going somewhere, I’m going somewhere/ Don’t know where I’m going but it’s going, it’s gone/ I’m going somewhere, so gone/ I’m going somewhere/ Whether nah Instabul abi nah Cape Town/ Small time I enter Maitama/ Whether nah Atlanta to collect my papers/ Small time I enter Maitama,” the lyrics read.

Since the release of her debut single ‘Amen’ while signed to Shizzi’s Magic Fingers Records in 2016, Teni has continued to prosper in the music industry.

In 2017, the songstress left the record label and signed with Dr. Dolor Entertainment.

Teni has numerous hit singles to her credit which include ‘Askamaya’, ‘Case’, ‘Billionaire’ and ‘Uyo Meyo’.

She has also put out projects like ‘Billionaire’ (2019), ‘The Quarantine Playlist’ (2020), and ‘Wondaland’ (2021).
