Tacha Akide, former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has organised a sensitisation campaign on permanent voters card (PVC) in Rivers state.

The ex-BBNaija housemate, in a video shared on her Instagram page, can be seen passionately urging Nigerians to vote in order to “take back Nigeria”.

Despite the heavy downpour, Tacha is also seen charging Nigerians to get their PVC and prevent the forthcoming election from being “business as usual”.

“Let’s make our vote count so politicians won’t pay us money for our vote. If we don’t take back Nigeria, our children won’t see a Nigeria to grow in,” she said.

“Get your PVC, next year come and vote. We need to tell the powerful that next election won’t be business as usual.”

Tacha also said she’s optimistic that “a new Nigeria can be achieved”.

“Using this medium to urge Nigerians, celebrities, entrepreneurs and concerned Nigerians in general, do not praise me but emulate this PVC awareness. Sensitize everyone around you,” she added.

“Carry Nigeria on your head like Galla, a new Nigeria is achievable. It lies in our hands. 2023 we take Nigeria back. ”
