The final trailer for ‘Black Widow’, Marvel’s superhero film, has been released — fueling the dynamics between Scarlett Johansson and her assassin colleague.
The trailer, which was released on Monday, comes ahead of the movie’s May 1 premiere and opens with Johansson admitting that she has made mistakes alongside lots of enemies too.
‘Black Widow’ is set after the events that played out in 2016’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and sees Johansson (Natasha Romanoff) being forced to confront her dark past as a spy.
Romanoff, however, finds herself alone and forced to confront a dangerous conspiracy while being pursued by forces that will stop at nothing but to bring her down.
Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, ‘Black Widow’ is intended to be the twenty-fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Among those who star in the forthcoming thriller aside from Johansson are Florence Pugh, David Harbour, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, and Rachel Weisz.
Despite concerns about the impact of the coronavirus on theatre releases, reports have it that the film has been projected to open with $115 million in the United States.
