Ronaldo took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a nearly five-minute footage of a celebration with family, friends and Georgina Rodriguez, his partner, and used the song as the theme of the footage.

“Life is better with your loved ones. Enjoy all the moments with love and happiness!,” Ronaldo, who has nearly 238 million followers and is the most-followed person on the social media, wrote.

He also recalled how he had told some friends weeks ago that all he wanted was for the famed football star to dance or play the song.

‘Jerusalema’, an upbeat gospel-influenced house song, which was initially put out in November, had quickly garnered positive response across the globe with a music video following later in December.

It was included on Master KG’s second album of the same title, garnering international recognition. It was even dubbed the anthem of the global coronavirus pandemic.

The musician had recently released a remix for ‘Jerusalema’, featuring Burna boy, an Afro-fusion star, and Nomcebo Zikode, a South African vocalist.
