Kunle Afolayan, a Nigerian filmmaker, has dropped the trailer for ‘Eko Law’, his forthcoming legal series.

In a post on his Instagram page on Friday, the ace filmmaker said the project is aimed at enlightening people about their legal rights.

He added that the movie also seeks to keep people abreast of the inherent differences between Nigerian constitutions and laws in other countries.

“Five years ago, we started this project, ‘Eko law series’ and now, the world really needs to see it,” he wrote.

The less than five-minute snippet sees Lere Paimo, a Nollywood star, chanting incantations in response to a question by a judge during a court session — a development that was greeted with mixed reactions.

It also sees Ronke Ojo, another movie star, staging fake theatrics in reaction to her husband’s demise.

Afolayan said the movie was a creative idea from Toun Adebiyi, deputy-general and former head of Lagos campus of the Nigerian Law School.

Other movie stars that featured in the film include Caroline King, Shaffy Bello and Bimbo Manuel.
