Mr. Macaroni has released a new skit titled ‘Avengers of Nollywood’, a parody of Marvel’s ‘Avengers’.
The skit, released on Saturday, features a star-studded cast of ace Nigerian actors, including Pete Edochie, Chiwetalu Agu, Peter Fatomilola, and Lalude.
Other veteran actors in the skit include Adewale Alebiosu, Abija Wara, Emeka Ani, and Harry B.
The skit is a follow-up to a previous one, where Edochie plays a suitor seeking the hand of Motunde, Mr. Macaroni’s daughter.
However, after Macaroni gives his blessings, Edochie disappears with Motunde, prompting Macaroni to search for his daughter.
Determined to rescue his daughter, Mr. Macaroni engages the services of a traditionalist to help him track down Edochie. When they arrive at Edochie’s house, they are met with resistance, and Edochie begins to summon his own spiritualists for backup.
What ensues is a hilarious battle between various veteran actors, all known for playing herbalists or villainous roles in Nollywood movies. They boast and throw spiritual powers around, each trying to outdo the others in a showcase of superiority.
However, the arrival of Peter Fatomilola brokers peace between the warring parties.
The skit is a lighthearted and entertaining tribute to the iconic actors of Nollywood.
