Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has featured in the visuals of ‘Yaba Buluku’, a fast-paced Amapiano single by DJ Tàrico, the Mozambican record producer.
The music video was released in the late hours of Tuesday.
The less than 4-minutes video begins with a scene in which some highly energetic youths could be seen gyrating ferociously to the intoxicating Amapiano sounds.
It then follows with a sequence of actions that feature a boxing ring, motorcycles, muscled men, and dancers including Nigeria’s Poco Lee.
The single, which also features Nelson Tivane and Preck, Mozambique singers, was first released in 2020 as a response to ‘John Vuli Gate’ by Mapara A Jazz, South African music duo.
According to the Mozambique record producer, the collaboration with Burna Boy will introduce the country’s sounds to the global market.
He added that the music alliance will also result in more excellent musical projects from the pair.
“The collaboration with Burna Boy is very amazing and will bear a lot of results for us,” he said.
“It will leverage our career to the highest level and we will do our utmost best to maintain this level that Geobek Records has brought to us.”
‘Yaba Buluku’ is a song off ‘Moz Piano Vol. 2’, DJ Tàrico’s sophomore album. Since its release, it has gone viral on Tik-Tok and garnered massive streams across local and international digital streaming platforms.
