In a post on Instagram, Agu mourned the untimely deaths of actors, musicians, and other notable figures, including Junior Pope, Mohbad, Zulu Adigwe, and others.

He also prayed that their souls “rest in peace”.

“The souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace,” he said.

Agu’s tribute comes at a time when the Nigerian entertainment industry is still grappling with the loss of several well-known figures in a short period.

Earlier this month, Sharon Okpamen, the Nollywood actress and producer, passed away just one month after childbirth.

On July 30, Onyeka Onwenu, the iconic Nigerian singer and actress, slumped and died after a performance in Lagos.
