Belcalis Almanzar, US rapper better known as Cardi B, has dropped a new video for her highly talked-about single ‘Press’.

‘Press’ was released on Wednesday, at a time when she pleaded not guilty to allegations of physical assault following a fight with bartenders at a New York strip club last year.

In the music video, the talented songwriter is seen with a handgun and is further faced with police interrogation. She is eventually dragged to court before a full bench of judges and witnesses.

As soon as the light goes off in the courtroom, the witnesses can be seen dead. The singer is taken to prison where she promptly engages in a fight with her new cellmate.

The visuals ends when a visibly angered Cardi B drowned her cellmate in the toilet.

Meanwhile, the rapper appeared in court a week after she emerged top winner at the 2019 BET Awards, having clinched the best album and best female categories.

The rapper is accused of ordering attacks on two bartenders, one of whom she accused of sleeping with her husband. Cardi B pleaded not guilty.

She and her co-defendants are expected to return to court in September. If convicted they face up to four years in prison.

She is also set to team up with Travis Scot for Ed Sheeran’s upcoming ‘No 6. Collaborations Projects’.
