Burna Boy has released the official music video for his heartfelt single ‘Love’ — a song from his latest studio album ‘No Sign Of Weakness’.
Directed by his sister Ronami Ogulu, the visuals opens with a tender, framed photograph of a young Burna Boy with his grandmother.
Her voice, heard in a personal voice note, lovingly addresses him, setting an intimate tone.
The video then weaves together candid moments of the Afrofusion star — capturing him with family, friends, and devoted fans — interspersed with flashes of his electrifying past stage performances.
“Na who go dey by your side if you waka through fire fire/ Follow you stand inside the fire/ Na who love me I go love/ Na who love us we go love/ Who go believe you when the whole world is calling you a liar liar/ Na who love me I go love/ Na who love us we go love,” he sings.
Born Damini Ogulu, Burna Boy gained fame after releasing ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’ (2013).
Since breaking into the mainstream, he has established himself as one of Africa’s most successful artistes, known for his genre-blending style and chart-topping albums.
In 2021, the self-proclaimed African Giant won the ‘Best World Music Album’ category at the Grammy Awards for ‘Twice As Tall’.
The singer has faced intense scrutiny in recent weeks over a viral incident at his concert in Colorado, where he ejected a couple in the front row for sleeping during his performance.
The incident sparked widespread discussion, which intensified after an Instagram live session where Burna Boy stated he only wants supporters who buy his tickets.
The fallout appeared to have extended to the singer’s touring schedule.
