A video of Blaqbonez, the Nigerian rapper, begging TG Omori, the music video director, to give him discounts on music video shoots has surfaced online.

In October, Blaqbonez made his directorial debut in ‘Back in Uni’, the first track from ‘Young Preacher’, his latest album.

The move had come after Omori demanded the sum of $30,000 dollars to shoot the video for the hit track.

“Today I’m directing my first music video. Every disappointment is a blessing,” he had written alongside screenshots of their chats.

But in the video, shared via his Twitter page on Monday, the pair were seen haggling over the amount to pay for subsequent projects.

The ‘Sex Over Love’ crooner — while filming the encounter — pleaded with Omori to lower his billing for music videos.

“How far bro now, tell them what I’m shooting… bro, I love you till death, but you gat cut price for me, we gat shoot…say it on this video so we have video evidence…. that you’ll cut price for me,” he said in a mixture of English and Pidgin.

In his response, Omori said he would give him a five per cent discount

“50k but five per cent discount,” he said.

Not satisfied with the arrangement, Blaqbonez exclaimed at his offer and begged him to reduce the amount further.

“Five per cent? You’re capping bro, you need to do more,” he replied.
