Pere Egbi, the housemate of the 2021 BBNaija reality TV show, has featured in ‘Charge & Bail’, a new Nollywood movie to debut in October.
The forthcoming film tells the story of a rich young lawyer posted to a “charge and bail” law firm during her year of national service but trouble ensues as she struggles to fit in with the people, courts, and life.
The movie presents itself as an adventure about the clash between the haves and the have-nots. It also touches on dealing with finding one’s place in a new environment.
Inkblot, the firm co-producing the film with Film One Entertainment, released a first look at the movie in a 30-second teaser on Thursday.
In the teaser, Pere is seen expressing his rage about having already offered enough money as the defendant to another party taking up a court case against him.
‘Charge & Bail’ is directed by Uyoyou Adia and written by Chinaza Onuzo.
It stars actors like Zainab Balogun, Stan Eze, Folu Storms, Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Manuel, Tope Olowoniyan, Elozonam Ogbolu, Eso Dike, and Craze Clown among others.
The film is scheduled to debut on October 15.
