Inkblot Productions has released a teaser for ‘The Set Up’, a film produced in partnership with Film One Distribution and Production and Anakle Films.
The one-minute teaser trailer has a host of Nollywood’s A-list actors including Dakore Egbuson Akande, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Joke Silva and Jim Iyke.
‘The Set Up’, a film written by Naz Onuzo, tells the thrilling ordeals of a female drug smuggler ‘Chike’, a role played by Adesua, when she met a socialite — a character played by Jim Iyke — who hires her to assist in scheming his marriage to a wealthy heiress.
In the trailer, Dakore portrays the attributes of the rich heiress emotionally caught in a web of deceit.
Directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, who also worked on ‘The Arbitration’ and ‘Chief Daddy’, ‘The Set Up’ is expected to premier at cinemas on August 9
The film also promises to satisfy viewers with some martial act showdown, as Adesua can be seen in the flick exuding all elements of strength and physical fitness.
