Adekunle Gold, Nigerian singer, has come through with visuals for ‘Something Different’, his latest single.
The gifted singer took to his social media page on Monday to announce the release of the much-awaited video to his numerous fans.
“Something Different’ video out now. Link in my bio,” he wrote on Instagram in a follow-up post on Tuesday.
The singer, born Adekunle Kosoko, had earlier teased fans about the release of the video.
The less than three-minute colourful video sees the ‘Jore’ crooner donning a masquerade disguise and examining how differences in priorities among lovers could bring about a sour relationship.
Gold could be seen at the start of the video reflecting on his love for a woman who is only interested in his money.
He had, however, wished the their relationship was not only built around financial gains.
The release of the video comes days after the singer and Simisola ‘Simi’ Ogunleye, his wife, welcomed their first child — a baby girl — together.
The 33-year-old songwriter and graphic designer has continued to pull the strings in the Nigerian music industry with several beautiful projects.
The singer tied the knot with Simi in a low-key wedding in January, 2019. The lovebirds celebrated their first year anniversary earlier this year
