Adekunle Gold, Nigerian singer, has released his latest single, ‘Kelegbe Megbe’, a highlife melody accompanied with an afro-retro themed visual.

Adekunle’s ‘Kelegbe Megbe’, a title which literally means ‘know your level’ in Yoruba, is an admonition to respect class difference.

The singer had earlier announced on his Instagram page that the music video will be available on June 21. He, however, shared the visuals on his official YouTube channel prior to the official release date.

Laced with rich vernacular metaphors and idioms, the music visuals also boasts of vibrant cultural props, natural aesthetics and models drabbed in African prints.

The urban highlife artiste, had recently dropped his debut single for the year, ‘Before You Wake Up’ with an animation visual, which was later followed by a Des Gray-directed video.
