The 2018 edition of the Africa International Film Festival kicked off on Sunday with an opening ceremony at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas in Lagos.

Dignitaries and movie enthusiasts who attended the ceremony were treated to ‘Sew the Winter to my Skin’, a movie by Jahmil X.T.

As part of the festival, which will end on Friday, movies will be shown at The Palms and Filmhouse, Oniru.

There will also be industry sessions for experts.

Here is a list of the movies that will show on Monday: Letter from Masanjia, Take Light, The Gospel According to Mattei, Cantadoras: Musical memories of Life and Death, Songs of Ossobo, Manta Ray, T-Junction, The Teacher, Wallay and The Poets.

A number of dignitaries including Peter Obi, vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Ego Boyo, Gideon Okeke, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Hilda Dokubo and Clarence Chukwurah attended the opening ceremony.
