Kate Henshaw, the Nollywood actress, has chided a fan who requested N35 million from her.
In a post via X, formerly Twitter, the film star wondered why anyone would ask her for such a sum of money.
Reacting, she argued that people who are not financially buoyant enough to afford their wants should defer them for when they have the means to procure same.
“There must be a thought process that goes through people’s minds that I can’t fathom,” she wrote.
“How do you send a DM to someone and ask for N35 million? How? Why?
“If you can’t afford what you want, why not wait till you can or defer till you have saved enough? Stop it! Just stop!”
Henshaw’s post has, however, garnered several reactions, with some netizens saying the fan could have have been offered moral support.
Henshaw forayed into the movie industry over two and a half decades ago.
She gained prominence for her role in the 1993 movie ‘When the Sun Sets’.
Since then, she has established herself as a prominent name in the Nigerian movie industry, with numerous awards and recognition to her credit.
