Davido, the Grammy-nominated star, has engaged in a war of words on social media with rapper Jesse Jagz.

The spat began on Wednesday after Davido posted on X: “I go use Amapiano yenk you”.

Jagz responded in the comment section with “we don tire,” a remark that quickly escalated into a back-and-forth between the two artistes on the microblogging platform.

Davido, however, fired back at Jagz, accusing him of drug use and claiming that he could “buy” his life.

“Stop taking drugs, I’ll buy your life,” Davido wrote.

In a subsequent post, the ‘With You’ hitmaker added: “You already got an od to worry about, better no add wetin no good.”

Jagz, in a series of now-deleted tweets, urged Davido to be “respectful,” insisting that no one could “buy life”.  He also pointed out that they both smoke, pushing back against the drug allegation.

“You can’t buy life lil bro, be respectful,” Jagz wrote.

“Na the same igbo we dey smoke but na me dey do drugs,” he added.

The rapper further took a swipe at Davido’s music, describing him as a “wack musician” and alleging manipulation of music charts.

“These wack musicians have cooked up the charts so bad that no good music can get in,” Jagz wrote.
