Singer Tiwa Savage has released the music video for her hit single ‘Ma Lo’ featuring Afrobeats star Wizkid on Friday.
Since the ‘All Over’ singer and her team flooded the internet with teaser clips, there has been a lot of anticipation for the actual video.
Shot in the iconic and ancestral home of Afrobeat, Fela’s Shrine, the video was shot in soft hues in a party setting.
‘Ma Lo’ is from the singer’s recently released EP entitled ‘Sugarcane’. Described as “short and sweet”- it received a major hype from British rock band Coldplay.
Tiwa Savage is one of seven Nigerian artistes — Maleek Berry, Mr Eazi, Davido, Tekno, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Wizkid — vying for the best African act category at the upcoming 2017 Mobo Awards.
She recently performed alongside American singer Jidenna as a co-headliner at the ‘Live Your Music‘ event in Lagos.
