Toyin Abraham has celebrated Kolawale Ajeyemi, her husband, on the occasion of his birthday.
The actress booked TimiDakolo, the Nigerian singer, to perform privately before them both as a surprise.
On her Instagram page, Abraham shared a heartwarming video of Dakolo delivering the private performance.
The celebrant looked on in surprise as Dakolo stepped out from behind and sang him a birthday song.
“I got him @timidakolo, he is one of his favorites so I brought him home to wish Oko mi @kolawoleajeyemi happy birthday,” the actress wrote in the video’s caption.
To further celebrate him, Abraham invited Baba Ajobiewe, a man well known for his prolific chants in Yorubaland, to deliver a piece for her husband.
She stated that she did so because her husband is what she described as the “king in their palace”.
“I’m sure you already know that Baba Ajobiewe @ajobiewearemu is the man that chants for almost all the Obas in Yorubaland. He is the best in the game, so I decided to bring him to come chant for my husband,” she wrote.
“@kolawoleajeyemi because my husband is the king in our Palace. So I told his son @officialajobiewejunior and we arranged this. Happy birthday once again Oko mi @kolawoleajeyemi”.
The couple had their traditional engagement in July 2019. They welcomed their first child in August 2019.
