A video showing a graduand turning down the marriage proposal of her boyfriend has surfaced and gone viral on social media platforms.
In the footage which surfaced via Twitter on Thursday, the lovebirds are seen in the midst of their fellow students.
The boyfriend thereafter kneels and offers the ring but he gets snubbed by his girlfriend who collects and throws it away.
It is understood that the duo, who are students of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), had just finished their final exams and were signing out when the young man decided to pop the question.
The lady’s answer, in spite of the persuasion of their colleagues, left the young man startled.
