A video of Georgina, the daughter of Rachel Oniga, the late Nollywood actress, shedding tears during her traditional wedding ceremony has gone viral.
In the video, the bride, who tied the knot on Saturday, wept profusely as the MC sang a prayer song for mothers to live long.

Oniga passed away in July 2021 after battling a heart-related disease at the age of 64. She was buried in Lagos a month later.
It was gathered that the actress took ill during the production of ‘A Naija Christmas’ — a movie directed by Kunle Afolayan.
Oniga started acting in 1993 after working briefly at Ascoline Nigeria Limited, a Dutch consultant company.
She made her Nollywood debut in ‘Onome’ and started to gain fame after she featured in ‘Owo Blow’, her first Yoruba movie.
Oniga established herself as a household name in the Nigerian movie industry, featuring in several hit movies.
Some of these movies include: ‘Sango’, ‘Mysterious Child’, ‘Aramide’, ‘Broken Wings’ ‘Blood On My Hands’, ‘Chief Daddy’ and ‘My Village People’.
She also gained prominence for her role in ‘Super Story’, a popular TV series by Wale Adenuga.
