Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has won the highly publicised celebrity boxing match against his colleague Speed Darlington.

The rivalry between the two singers began when Darlington invited Portable to perform at his show and offered him N500,000.

Portable, however, rejected the offer, mocking Darlington for being “poor” and claiming his performance fee was N20 million.

In his response, Darlington accused Portable of insulting his mother.

Portable responded by challenging Darlington to a fight. He boasted that he would defeat him just as he did to actor Charles Okocha.

The two singers finally faced off in the ring on Friday night at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island.

Portable gained the upper hand following an intense exchange of punches in the first round.

In the second round, Darlington failed to stand up, resulting in a technical knockout (TKO) victory for Portable.
