Portable, the controversial singer, has left fans surprised over his choice of outfit in a promotional video for his new single titled ‘Purr’.
The song’s title was inspired by a viral trend where a lady encouraged her friend to “say purr” on camera. In the context of the trend, “purr” is used to express approval or contentment.
The ‘Tony Montana’ hitmaker shared a video on Instagram of himself dancing while wearing a white wrapper and top, styled with a headtie, gold shoes, and a purse.
In the lyrics of ‘Purr’, Portable expresses gratitude to God while declaring Him as his only source of help.
“Maa wo mi o/ Maa wo mi/ Igba ti o de eko, o meyo/ Kilo maa n she e na/ Sope purr/ Iwo loku mi ku shanu mi/ Ona ope mi po o lo fun Olohun/ Kini ki n jo/ Jo jo/ Kilo maa n she na/ Sope purr,” the lyrics read in Yoruba.
