A video has surfaced showing Pasuma, the Fuji singer, leading a street campaign for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections.
In the footage, the Fuji icon sits atop a moving truck while treating a walking crowd of supporters to his songs.
Tinubu is contesting against Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), among others.
Pasuma’s debut album ‘Recognition’ was released in 1993.
He has since then released over 30 albums.
The Fuji star has gone on to become one of the most successful in his genre.
He has also collaborated with several recording artists, including King Sunny Ade.
Apart from singing, Pasuma has featured in a number of Nigerian movies such as ‘Iyanje’ and ‘Alenibare’.
