Nollywood power couple Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva rang the closing bell at the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Friday.
It was the last trading day of 2017 on the Stock Exchange.
The couple join the list of high-profile persons who have rung the closing bell; some of whom include Mike Adenuga, D’banj, Aliko Dangote, Sunday Oliseh.
“Thank you for this incredible honour that you have bestowed on myself and my husband, Mr Olu Jacobs,” Joke Silva said.
“There have been so many of our colleagues have come here before and they would have told you of how impactful our industry is and how influential it is.
“In our previous meeting, it was heartwarming to hear of the various areas you want to collaborate and partner with us. We look forward to all those rolling out.”
Reacting to the honour, Olu Jacobs said: “There’s little I can add than to say thank you for this wonderful honour that you have bestowed on us.”
